At the moment, the Location settings window is neither very functional, nor very intuitive.
For example, the long list is unwieldy and the fact that it offers places on other bodies than Earth can be easily overlooked. Also, some users have requested help with adding new locations, which means that the process is not intuitive.
The same window in KStars can be used for an example for a better design. (It looks... oddly familiar. :) Is Stellarium's Location dialog based on an old version of KStars?)
